NOTE: Exhibit tables will be in the main ballroom, so exhibit staff must register at the special exhibitor rate of $600 per person (SEJ and Uproot members can register at the member rate and speakers at the speaker rate). This fee includes access to conference events and meals (ticketed events extra). Limit of two exhibitor staff at the $600 rate for full tables and one for half tables. Host an Independent Reception
Help build the Environmental Journalism community by hosting an independent reception at the conference center (BSU’s Student Union Building) on Thursday night. You purchase the food and/or drink, and we’ll provide the guests. Spots are very limited!

Host a Beat Dinner
You choose the topic, restaurant and menu. SEJ will advertise your dinner event in the agenda (website, app, PDF), and promote it to the attendees. You decide whether it is a hosted or no-host dinner and control the RSVP list. Spots are limited!

Press release specs: Messages must be plain text or simple HTML (text with color, style, links, etc). 1-2 graphics can be included. While there is not a word limit, releases of 600 words or less will be more effective. Your message must be formatted for email before sending to SEJ. Scheduling is first-come-first-served. The Society of Environmental Journalists and The Uproot Project are partnering to offer diversity fellowships (worth up to $2500) to support journalists’ attendance at #SEJ2023 in Boise. This year, we received more than double the number of applications as last year!
Please help us support as many of the fellows as possible. Your donation will help cover the costs of registration, travel, lodging and other expenses of #SEJ2023 Diversity Fellowships. CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your ad, exhibit or reception in writing by March 15, 2023, you’ll receive a full refund. After March 15, substitutions may be made until April 3.
If SEJ must cancel the onsite conference, SEJ will refund hospitality reception, program advertisers and exhibit table fees charged by SEJ. However, SEJ does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges or expenses, including costs of travel/lodging, catering or cancellation fees imposed by third parties.
