All attendees at SEJ and SEJ-sponsored in-person events must be up-to-date on their vaccinations and boosters as defined by the CDC and must attest to that fact. If you are unable to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons, you must have a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of the event or a negative antigen test 24 hours before. Anyone experiencing symptoms should take a rapid antigen test and get a negative result before joining the event. Masks will be mandatory, unless outdoors or while actively eating/drinking. Speakers can choose to remove their masks while actively speaking. Attendees who receive a positive COVID-19 test result within 10 days of the conference should not attend — please contact us with your results at sej@sej.org for a full refund of your registration fees.
These requirements are subject to change based on public health requirements at the time and place of event. SEJ will comply with all applicable laws and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health authorities, as applicable. SEJ will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and reserves the right to amend our COVID-19 Protocols in any way and at any time.
SEJ is not and will not be responsible for any expenses, damages or losses resulting from the enforcement of these COVID-19 protocols. Any attendee who fails to abide by SEJ’s COVID-19 protocols will not have their fee refunded.
For purposes of SEJ in-person events, an individual is up-to-date as defined by CDC guidelines.
